The

Battle for Hougoumont

Napoleon’s feint against the Allied right flank, at Hougoumont, was defended by the light companies of the British Foot Guard regiments, the 1st battalion of the 2nd Regiment of Nassau light infantry, and some detached light infantry from the battalions of Grubenhagen, and the 1st company of the field Jager corps.

Later came more Foot Guards and finally Brunswick and Hanovarian battalions.

This was a battle within a battle, and here are the rules and organisations, to bring it to life on the tabletop.

Find out who really broke down the gates of Hougoumont! and how sergeant Fraser actually captured colonel Cubiere’s horse!
